Write a paper on Innovative Nursing Care Delivery Models
a) This website provides detailed profiles of 24 successful innovative nursing care delivery models. These profiles were developed as part of a research project conducted by Health Workforce Solutions LLC (HWS) and funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF).
b) The HWS and RWJF encourage organizations to peruse these models to 1) find ideas and elements to adopt and adapt for their own patients; 2) encourage and inspire continued innovation in care delivery; and 3) identify and profile new models of care that could be replicated throughout the United States. The following report is an overview of the impetus for identifying innovative models and detailing the selection process. Read the 2008 report. CLICK on following link:

e) Using the web pages as a resource, write a paper of at least 750 words using the following steps
i. Identify the innovative nursing care model. (See selection of models above). PAPER HEADING: Innovative Nursing Care Model: [Indicate Name of Your Chosen Model] WHY did you choose this model for your work setting? HOW does this innovative care model “fit” your organization’s stated mission or vision and, if available, your organization’s stated philosophy and values? Look on your organization’s web site for the mission, etc.
ii. Organize a team. PAPER HEADING: Development Team for Innovative Nursing Care ModelWHO would you select to be on your team to develop and implement the model (titles, not names). WHY are these team members (administrators and staff) important for success? Think about the chief executive officers down to housekeeping. If you are using a community-based model, what community organizations or community people should be represented on your team? How would you get the nurses and other members “on board” to implement the model?
iii. Describe/Adapt the model. PAPER HEADING: Incorporation of Selected Model into My Work Setting DESCRIBE the model as it will be incorporated into your work setting. How you would ADAPT the model to your work setting? Health care organizations and communities are unique and adaptations would be required (Step 3 should be the major portion of your paper).
iv. Implementation and evaluation. PAPER HEADING: Evaluation of Model: Outcome Measurement
